Connect your tools to Frog
Frog uses connected tools to work with your product’s evidence and content. A connection is not permission to publish, and Google reports are not measurements of AI recommendations.
Availability
Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Webflow are being prepared for public access. Their provider reviews and real-account acceptance tests are not complete. A disabled connection cannot be started yet. This guide describes the setup controls available once that provider is enabled.
Before connecting
Sign in to Frog, open your project’s Agent, then choose Connectors. Only a workspace owner can add or replace an account, select a property or change access. You need an existing account with access to the property or Webflow site you want to use. Frog does not create those properties or install website tracking for you.
Choose a provider, select Add account, then review the permissions in Google or Webflow. You can deny the request. Returning to Frog after successful authorization saves the connection; it does not by itself start a scan, import a report or publish content.
Google Search Console
Frog requests webmasters.readonly to list accessible properties and read Google Search performance. It cannot change your site, submit URLs or change Search Console permissions.
After connecting, select Manage, choose a property and confirm data sharing. Import a report for a date range and inspect its saved receipt. Reports include the selected query/page/day breakdown, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position. Imports are bounded to the first 500 returned rows and at most 90 completed calendar days. Missing rows do not establish zero demand.
Search Console reports describe Google Search, not customer questions asked to AI or measured AI visibility. Google can omit or aggregate data. Use comparable properties, dates and filters when comparing reports.
Google Analytics 4
Frog requests analytics.readonly to list accessible GA4 properties and read their reports. It does not change Analytics configuration, tracking tags or events.
After connecting, select Manage, choose a property and confirm data sharing. Import a traffic report for a date range. Frog stores up to 200 rows, grouped by session source, session medium and landing page, with sessions, key events and total revenue, plus the report’s date range, currency and time zone.
These are observed traffic and attribution data, not a complete count of AI-driven visits or proof that Frog caused revenue. Your tracking setup, consent settings and Google’s sampling, thresholds and aggregation affect what is available. If no property appears, use a Google account that already has access to your GA4 property.
Google data sharing and storage
Authorization credentials are encrypted and stored on Frog’s server. They are not shown to workspace members or sent to the AI model. Imported reports are stored in Frog’s database and are accessible to authorized members of the project’s workspace.
When Frog’s agent uses an imported report to answer a workspace request, relevant report data can be sent to OpenAI for processing. Those data can include search queries, page paths, traffic sources and business performance metrics. Do not connect a property whose data you are not authorized to share with your workspace and the agent.
Connecting an account and selecting a property are separate actions. Property selection asks you to confirm workspace sharing and agent use. Report imports have their own controls; merely opening a page does not import a report.
Webflow
Frog’s Webflow Data Client requests authorized_user:read, sites:read, cms:read and cms:write. These permissions identify the authorized account, list accessible sites, inspect CMS collections and support the reviewed draft workflow. Webflow controls which sites you authorize.
After connecting, use Manage to select your site, blog collection and supported content field. Connection setup does not create a CMS item or publish a page. CMS draft delivery remains unavailable until its execution workflow has been enabled and verified. A saved content proposal and an actual delivered draft are different outcomes. Publication is a separate action with separate approval, not an automatic result of connecting.
Public installation requires Webflow’s app review. An app created in the developer’s own workspace is not automatically available to every customer.
Disconnect and revoke
Use Manage, then Disconnect to stop new access through that project’s Google connection. Frog removes its saved authorization credentials for that connection. Saved reports and prior chat answers are retained in the workspace; disconnecting is not deletion of those records.
You can also revoke the application’s grant in your Google Account connections. Google’s grant can cover more than one property, so provider-side revocation may affect other connections using that application. For Webflow, use the installed app’s revocation controls in Webflow and review the saved destination in Frog.
For data access or deletion requests, contact Frog support. Send your workspace identity and the request, not passwords, tokens or API secrets. We may need to verify your authority before acting. This setup guide is not a substitute for the service’s privacy policy or terms.
Troubleshooting
- Connection unavailable: the provider is not enabled or its server setup needs attention. There is no saved success to infer from that state.
- No properties or sites: confirm access in the provider’s own console and reconnect with the right account. Frog cannot grant provider permissions.
- Authorization denied: no new account connection is completed. Return to Connectors when you are ready to try again.
- Disconnected or revoked account: reconnect and select the intended property before a new import. Existing reports are historical, not live data.
- Interrupted import: inspect its saved status before trying again. An interrupted request is not a completed report.
